Calgary-based Lyric Discovery provides lyricists an online platform for selling lyrics and showcasing their songwriting talents to musicians, music publishers, agents, and record labels.

Lyric Discovery is thrilled to announce the launch of our new website www.lyricdiscovery.com, which is designed to help songwriters answer the question “how do I sell my lyrics”. “Our goal is to connect aspiring and professional lyricists with musicians and top music industry professionals from all around the world. “

Lyricists may choose either a free or paid membership to upload their original lyrics onto the secure website database. Musicians and music industry professionals may browse the database catalog to find lyrics they want to buy or a songwriter they want to represent or collaborate with. Only professional members qualified by Lyric Discovery management are able to contact the songwriters. Musicians and music publishers now have an alternative to “songwriter wanted” ads.

The website is also a resource to help educate and encourage new songwriters. Featured sections include tips on writing songs and selling lyrics, copyright information, success stories, spotlights on professional lyricists and also songwriting contests.

Lyric Discovery is the brainchild of Howard Grenon who discovered in 2008 that there was no website dedicated to bringing lyricists and music professionals together. He was determined to help aspiring songwriters over that career road block.
